This very particular pendulum was developed in collaboration with several dowsers. Its structure is in Argentium and its internal part in Hazel wood. Its shape makes it possible to have precisely the center of gravity of the mobile located at the bottom two-thirds of the Coudrier wooden rod. Its geometry and its very dense material make it possible to have an extremely sensitive pendulum. The circular drag is reduced to its maximum. It should be noted that this pendulum was developed specifically to amplify low intensity and low frequency oscillations. That is to say slow and wide movements. It will therefore be necessary to allow time for the pendulum so that its moving part arrives at its stabilized rotation. It will therefore not be suitable for map research, for example, or only in the context of a rapid near-search. It will not be suitable for people who like "nervous" pendulums.

A pendulum allowing the amplification of low intensity, very localized and high frequency oscillations is under development in our workshop. It will be done exclusively for research on maps.

We invite you to come and test this dowsing pendulum in our workshop to make sure it suits you. We will be happy to welcome you by appointment.

Symbolic

The Hazel or coudrier is the magic tree par excellence. Since antiquity, royal scepters and magic wands have been made from hazelnut. It is difficult to trace the origin of these complex beliefs. We can only say that they are widely spread over time and over a large part of the surface of our planet. The Coudrier is consecrated to the God Thor among the Germans. The emblem of the medical profession, the caduceus, is an elkwood staff surrounded by two snakes and surmounted by two wings. There are many examples.

Old Beliefs

In Roman times, Mercury would have received from Apollo a staff of an elbow tree which he used to calm the passions of men and improve their virtues (CHGH)

"The young coudier which has not yet produced fruit naturally leans towards the mineral veins" (ROLL)

"It is recommended to plant a hazelnut tree near the entrance of a house to protect the serenity of the home" (DERR)
