Techniques and Crafts:

We work from raw opal, which we shape by hand using diamond tools. The setting of the "Astral Poetry" pendant is first sculpted in wax, then made in Argentium using the ancestral technique of lost wax casting. Each stage of creation, from sculpture to foundry, from setting to polishing, is carried out on our premises.

Symbolism of Opal:

• Greco-Roman world: Opal is a powerful good luck charm, adorning the staffs of Roman generals. Nonius, a Roman senator, preferred exile rather than giving his opal to Mark Antony for Cleopatra (CHGH).
