Techniques and Crafts:

Lapis lazuli is hand carved by our talented lapidary and glyptician artisan using diamond tools. The original frame is first sculpted in wax, then made in Argentium using the ancestral technique of lost wax casting. Each stage of creation, from sculpture to foundry, from setting to polishing, is carried out on our premises.

Symbolism of Lapis Lazuli:

  • Sumerians: Represents the celestial vault, revered as the "stone of stones".
  • Pre-Columbian America: Cosmic symbol of the starry night (CHGH).
  • Aura: Creates around its owner an aura of tenderness and sympathy (FLAM).

Ancient Beliefs:

  • Dreams:
    • Finding lapis lazuli in a dream announces a situation that will turn out to your advantage (DERR, CANA).
    • Arguing about a lapis lazuli in a dream indicates that one should not sign a contract lightly in the following days (DERR, CANA).
